Hi, I’m Mary,

Nutritionist, mother of teen girls, gym enthusiast, sun and beach worshipper.

I created Cultivated Wellness to support you on your journey towards lasting health and vitality. I believe true wellness comes from restoring balance—assisting the body and mind to return to a state of homeostasis.

Supporting healthy weight, mood, energy, and muscle development is an important part of my work—especially for women. I take a realistic, non-restrictive approach that avoids diet dogma and extremes, helping you nourish your body in a way that feels supportive, not stressful. My approach is grounded in science and holistic in approach, emphasising foundational approaches to wellness with a focus on circadian health, food as medicine, environmental considerations and emotional wellbeing. I then create an individualised plan using nutritional therapy and lifestyle optimisation to support your personal goals.

As a clinical nutritionist, I evaluate you as a unique individual and the body as an intertwined entity. In doing so, all factors contributing to undesirable symptoms or poor health are addressed so there are a broad range of presentations that I see and have a special interest in. Some of these are:

  • Metabolic function (thyroid health, mitochondrial dysfunction)

  • Performance nutrition

  • Digestive issues

  • Hormonal imbalance

  • Sleep and fatigue issues

  • Nervous system dysregulation

  • Immune support

  • Weight management

My path into natural health is shaped by a unique blend of clinical experience and personal insight. I hold degrees in both Clinical Nutrition and Occupational Therapy, so I have worked within the allopathic and natural medicine models—giving me a well-rounded understanding of how health is viewed and treated from both medical and holistic perspectives. After spending years navigating my own health struggles – which I eventually overcame through targeted diet and lifestyle changes, my focus shifted to helping others take control of their health.

I am based in Melbourne with my husband and our two teenage daughters and we share an eclectic mix of Greek and Italian heritage so good food is integral to our existence. When I am not navigating the mess and magic of family life, my goal is to spend as much time in the sun and ocean as humanly possible.
